About the role

Physician: Work-Life Balance | No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays Except for Minimal, Phone-Based On-Call - Locations: Sacramento, CA (Relocation assistance available)  - Compensation: $310,000 – $385,000 negotiable - PLUS Sign on Bonus - Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM  - Light patient panel: 5–8 patients per dayBenefits: - Health: Medical, Dental, and Vision 100% covered – NO COST to you or your dependents!  - Retirement: 401(k) plan with up to 4% employer match  - Insurance Coverage: Medical professional liability, long-term disability, life insurance, and worker’s compensation  - Professional Expenses: State license fees, DEA registration, and one professional membership dues  - Continuing Medical Education (CME): $2,500 annual allowance plus 5 CME days  - Paid Time Off: Vacation Time: 22 days (120 hours), Sick Time: 5 days (40 hours), Nationally observed holidays: 11 nationally observed holidays About Client:  National leader and largest providers in the United States. Physician Qualifications:  - Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from U.S. medical school - Successful completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution - Postgraduate training in a primary care specialty, preferably internal medicine or family medicine —geriatrics is a plus. Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation - Current active California medical license - Current active DEA license - Board CertificationPrimary care Physician Overview: - Primary Care (80% of Time): Provide comprehensive medical care to Greater California PACE participants, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescription writing, and follow-up. Document care in medical records per policy and contribute to EMR enhancements. Offer 24/7 medical coverage as assigned. Participate in interdisciplinary team care planning and quality improvement initiatives. Initiate and support new medical programs aligned with strategic goals. - Supervision (20% of Time): Effectively lead and manage staff, adhering to organizational policies and employment laws. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance appraisal, disciplinary actions, and problem resolution.
