Teradata, UNIX Architect

Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services. - Strong Requirement Elicitation & Analysis skills - - Should have the capability to understand requirements and convert to design and provide - - pass the same seamlessly to the team who is working on the same. - - Ability to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, manage timelines, escalation & provide on - - time status. - - Good knowledge in DWH concepts and Logical/physical database design - - Extensive knowledge of Teradata database, data warehousing and information - - management best practices. - - Excellent understanding of Teradata architecture. Knowledge of Teradata CLDM will be an - - Hands on experience in performing optimization/tuning activities in Teradata - - Hands on experience in Stored Procedures, Bteq, Teradata utilities for load and export data - - Should come up with the work estimation and should provide inputs to managers on - - resource and risk planning. - - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Unix shell scripting - - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written communication, oral communication and - - listening skills - - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. - At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology. ** U.S. citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encourage to apply.
