About the role
Total Group of Companies is looking for a Junior Fire Systems Technician to join our team of fire & life safety professionals! This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to start a career in the fire protection industry.
This role will support inspections, maintenance, and basic service work across a variety of fire protection systems including fire alarm, sprinkler, extinguishers, and suppression systems. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians and receive on-the-job training.
Under the direct supervision of the Sr. Fire Systems Technician, daily tasks and activities include but are not limited to:
· Assist with inspection, service, and basic troubleshooting of fire protection systems
· Support repairs, upgrades, and maintenance tasks as directed
· Help prepare inspection and deficiency reports
· Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and general job site tasks
· Maintain company equipment and vehicles
· Follow all safety procedures and company policies
· Participate in scheduled inspections and service work
