Safety Advisor - B.C.

Total Group of Companies is currently looking for Safety Advisors for a restoration project around Summerland, B.C. Position Overview Safety Advisors support field crews, contractors, and client representatives by helping maintain safe work practices, identifying hazards, supporting site safety requirements, and promoting a positive safety culture. Work may take place in industrial, construction, restoration, turnaround, or remote project environments. Responsibilities may include: - Supporting site personnel with daily safety expectations and safe work practices - Completing site safety observations, inspections, and hazard assessments - Assisting with orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings - Monitoring work activities for compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements - Supporting incident, near-miss, and hazard reporting processes - Reviewing documentation such as FLHAs, permits, JHAs, and safety paperwork - Communicating professionally with workers, supervisors, and client representatives - Promoting a positive, proactive, and solutions-focused safety culture
