About the role

Apprentice Carpenter Firma Contracting is a heavy civil / underground utility contractor currently working on commercial and industrial concrete projects located in Edmonton.  We offer competitive wages($27-$35), winter work, RRSP program, benefits, work / life balance and a great company culture! Responsibilities: - Perform carpentry for formwork on the project - Adherence to project specifications, code and corporate safety requirements on all sites - Proficient knowledge and use of power tools such as air nailers, skill saw, screw gun - Experience or willingness to be trained on equipment operation is an asset - Other tasks as required by the site foreman Requirements - 2+ years of carpentry experience - Concrete and formwork experience an asset - Good verbal communication skills - Candidate must have excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work - Exceptional analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills - Highly organized, results-oriented and able to work in a multi-functional team environment - Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
