Your New Role
- Develop and manage company-wide purchasing and procurement strategy
- Own the purchase order process from quoting through closeout
- Negotiate pricing, material buyouts, and supplier agreements
- Maintain accurate purchase order tracking, including status, value, releases, and deliveries
- Ensure all purchasing is correctly coded and tied to job costing
- Implement and maintain invoice-to-purchase-order matching controls
- Partner with the Warehouse Manager on inventory planning and material flow
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through spot buys and vendor comparisons
- Build and maintain purchasing reports and dashboards for leadership review
- Communicate clearly with Field teams, Project Managers, Accounts Payable, and Operations
- Supervise purchasing staff if applicable
