Yellowstone Local is proud to represent TDI Refrigeration, an industry leader in industrial refrigeration and HVACR services. Earn $30.00 to $70.00 per hour while servicing commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVACR systems. You will receive a company vehicle, gas card, company phone, tool account, and ongoing training while working with compressors, refrigeration controls, PLCs, electrical systems, and ammonia and synthetic refrigeration equipment. If you are an experienced refrigeration or HVACR technician who enjoys advanced troubleshooting and wants to expand your technical expertise, this opportunity also gives you the chance to learn industrial ammonia refrigeration through company training. What You’ll Get - $30.00 to $70.00 per hour based on experience, certifications, and technical expertise - Progressive pay increases tied to certification achievements and professional development - Company vehicle - Gas card - Company phone - Tool account - Medical insurance with 100 percent employee coverage and 70 percent dependent coverage - Dental and vision insurance - Retirement benefits - Paid holidays - PTO with starting accrual based on individual circumstances - Health Savings Account, HSA - Ongoing technical training and cross training in industrial refrigeration systems - Potential relocation assistance considered on a case by case basis Why Technicians Choose This Role - Grow your expertise beyond standard HVACR service through hands on exposure to commercial and industrial refrigeration systems - Receive company training that can help you develop your skills in industrial ammonia refrigeration - Expand your knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, synthetic refrigeration systems, compressor rebuilds, controls, and advanced troubleshooting - Work with reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and screw compressors - Develop experience troubleshooting computerized refrigeration controls, PLCs, microprocessors, and control panels - Learn alongside experienced professionals who support technical development and career growth - Take ownership of service projects while delivering effective solutions for customers - Continue developing your technical abilities through ongoing training and cross training opportunities What You’ll Do - Work from the Aurora, Colorado office location and travel to customer sites for commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVACR service - Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration and HVACR systems - Perform hot and cold compressor and motor alignments - Service and repair reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and screw compressors - Complete compressor rebuilds and shaft seal replacements - Diagnose refrigeration system issues using electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic testing equipment - Install and service expansion valves, control valves, and other refrigeration components - Use oxy acetylene equipment for refrigeration system repairs and installations - Install wiring and electrical connections for refrigeration equipment and controls - Test refrigeration lines, components, and connections for leaks - Perform startup and commissioning of ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems - Troubleshoot computerized refrigeration controls, PLCs, microprocessors, and control panels - Build strong customer relationships through professional service and clear communication - Accurately complete work orders, service documentation, and timecards using SimPRO - Obtain required customer approvals and signatures before leaving job sites - Keep the company vehicle, truck stock, tools, and equipment organized and properly maintained - Generate purchase orders and coordinate materials needed to complete service work - Remain involved with projects through completion while collaborating with customers and team members - Work overtime and participate in on call rotations as needed to support customer operations Hiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience.
