Sr. Network / Wireless Engineer

Tech tammina solutions - This position is for a Senior Network System Engineer to support a global network. - This position is for a Tier3 support engineer to provide support for a Tier 2 Network Operations Center (NOC), and overall network ownership of network devices in over 90 locations across the globe. - The candidate should have very strong architectural skills, and be very knowledgeable of Cisco DMVPN technologies, and Xirrus wireless arrays. - This position will also entail innovation and roadmap direction of improvements in processes, equipment, and configurations. - The candidate will work closely with the security group, server teams, and various other groups within the agency. - The candidate will be responsible for escalation support (diagnosis, troubleshooting & resolution), Root Cause Determination (RCA) leadership, network documentation, assessments, and generation and analysis of monthly reports. Occasional overtime may be required from the candidate. - The global network is comprised primarily of Cisco components, and requires a highly skilled individual in routing, switching, load balancers, Trusted Internet connections and big picture network analysis. - This position is located in the Washington Metro area, and will require occasional travel to local sites. - Candidate must be a self-starter, detail oriented, and be able to drive projects to completion.Required Skills: Network Routing  Network Switching  Dynamic routing protocols  Team leadership Enterprise Wireless  Cisco WAN DMVPN  Cisco devices  Duration: 1 year contract Need Citizens / Must have an active Secret clearance Share the Profiles to michael(at)tammina.com Contact: 703-349-1004 Keep the subject line with Job Title and Location
