Pipe Laborer

RYCO Excavating, Inc. is seeking resumes for a Pipe Laborer to join our excavation team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in utility construction and earthwork, with knowledge of pipe laying and grading. This role requires a detail-oriented and hardworking individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our projects.  Hiring bonus: $1,000. $500 to be paid after 6 months of employment and then $500 after 1 year of employment. Key Responsibilities: - Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials. - Assist in utility construction projects, including pipe laying and grading. - Follow all safety protocols and ensure the safety of the worksite. - Conduct pre-operation checks and regular maintenance on equipment. - Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met. - Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and other construction documents. Requirements: - Proven experience as a laborer in utility construction and/or earthwork. - Knowledge of pipe laying and grading techniques. - Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations. - Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills. - Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred. - High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in heavy equipment operation a plus. - Experience with GPS and other advanced excavation technologies a plus. - OSHA 10-hour training a plus.
