In this role, you will design, build and ship the AI capability behind AJW's core AI products, helping us evolve from single-purpose assistants into a more autonomous, agent- and memory-driven platform. The role combines hands-on AI/ML engineering with close collaboration across the AI Innovation team to bring new AI capability into reliable, production use.
What you’ll be doing:
- Writing, testing and deploying AI/ML code (Python) integrated with existing systems.
- Designing and refining agent behaviours, prompts and retrieval approaches.
- Reviewing AI feature performance and monitoring data, adjusting as needed.
- Collaborating with the Data Engineer, Business Analyst and Team Lead on priorities and technical approach.
- Supporting AI Champions and other colleagues using self-service AI tools.
- Contributing to documentation supporting responsible AI and governance practices.
