As we continue to grow, Coinmerce is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations, accounting practices, and reporting. You’ll be a key player in helping senior leadership make informed decisions and ensuring that we maintain compliance with the regulatory standards in the rapidly evolving crypto industry.   Responsibilities: - Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and crypto-specific regulations.. - Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, aligning them with business goals. - Analyze business performance and provide recommendations for financial efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue growth. - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate reporting. - Support recruitment, training, and development of the finance team to ensure alignment with company goals. - Supervise the valuation and accounting of cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring proper tax treatment and compliance with standards. WHAT YOU BRING - Previous experience in a similar financial controller role, with a focus on crypto or fintech industries. - Experience within a fintech or crypto environment will be a great asset. - Strong organizational abilities and communication skills in English.  - Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, Exact) is a plus. - Proactive, creative in finding solutions, and comfortable working independently or in a team. - A deep passion for financial management, accounting and an eye for detail.
