Our mission is to create a world where proactive, deeply personal care is accessible to all—through both a luxury in-clinic experience and transformative technology.   About the Role: We are seeking a hands-on, strategic, and AI-forward Director of Finance to lead and strengthen financial operations across Medici and its affiliated businesses, including Health by Design. This is not a traditional back-office accounting role. The Director of Finance will oversee day-to-day financial operations while partnering closely with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and strategic business decisions. A critical part of this role is actively leveraging AI, automation, and modern financial technology to streamline accounting processes, improve reporting accuracy, strengthen financial controls, and build a more efficient and scalable finance function. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting expertise with strategic financial leadership and a demonstrated ability to identify, implement, and optimize AI-driven solutions across financial operations. We are looking for someone who embraces emerging technologies, challenges traditional processes, and takes ownership of both financial performance and operational improvements. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a VP of Finance position as the organization expands. This position requires onsite presence at our Austin clinic several days per week, along with the flexibility to travel to our San Antonio office, where the majority of our finance team is based.
