School-Based Health Center Providers Kivalina, Alaska Maniilaq Association is seeking an MD, DO, NP, or PA to lead clinical care at a newly opened school-based health center in Kivalina, Alaska, an Iñupiaq community on the Chukchi Sea coast of Northwest Alaska. This is a chance to help shape a new clinic from the ground up, to bring care directly to students where they learn, and to work alongside a community with deep cultural strength and a long tradition of caring for its young people. This is the first Maniilaq School Based Health Center, as part of a broader strategy to bring these programs to all of the eleven surrounding villages near Kotzebue, Alaska. The provider will offer comprehensive care to K–12 students, including physicals, immunizations, acute care, and confidential adolescent and reproductive health care, and will help shape a new clinic alongside the school and community. Although full-time positions will be available, we anticipate sharing the role across a 2-4 providers, with 2-4 weeks on and 4-6 weeks off, dependent on exact provider mix. - Competitive Salary - Housing, travel and assistance with Alaska licensing provided. - Providers will be directly hired by Maniilaq Association - School-Based Health Center Providers Kivalina, Alaska (Maniilaq Association) - Anticipated starting dates late Spring and Fall 2027.
