About the role

SQLB2B SalesGo-to-Market
Healthcare is in crisis and the people behind the results deserve better. With more and more data coming from wearables, lab tests, and patient–doctor interactions, we’re entering an era where data is abundant. Junction is building the infrastructure layer for diagnostic healthcare, making patient data accessible, actionable, and automated across labs and devices. Our mission is simple but ambitious: build the infrastructure that makes predictive, personalized care possible. If you're passionate about how technology can supercharge healthcare, you’ll fit right in. Backed by Creandum, Point Nine, 20VC, YC, and leading angels, we’re working to solve one of the biggest challenges of our time: making healthcare personalized, proactive, and affordable. We’re already connecting millions and scaling fast. Short on time? TL;DR - You: Experienced PM who's shipped complex B2B products where real people, and something in the physical world, have to show up for the product to work. The messier the problem space, the more at home you'll feel here - Us: Team of ~60 including a growing team of 14 engineers, lab volume 6x’d in the last year, powering millions of lab tests across all the US. - Salary: $190,000 - $240,000 + equity - Location: Remote EST ONLY Why we need you Junction sits at the center of labs, providers, and the developers building on top of us. We process 20M lab tests today and are on track for 60M next year, and every 300th outpatient test in the US already runs through our systems. The product decisions we make now will shape how we get there. This role owns how every order on Junction turns into a sample at the lab, one of the most sensitive and error prone moments in laboratory testing. When a sample isn't collected, or isn't collected properly, the patient never gets their result. That is the leading cause of missing results in lab testing today. Between the order and the lab, a patient has to find a collection option, and show up. That might be at a patient service center, with a mobile phlebotomist at their home, or with a self collection kit through the mail. The sample then has to be collected correctly and reach the right lab within its stability window, often through partners we don't directly control. This is one of the few product roles where the product only works if something happens in the physical world. Solving this is the biggest opportunity in lab testing, and it starts with the patient. A patient-centric experience is how we get more people lab results and get better care delivered faster, in more places, more reliably. That is becoming Junction's most differentiated value proposition, and this role will own it. You'll expand where and how patients can get tested, including in their own homes. You'll improve the experience so more people follow through and get collected correctly the first time. You'll also build the national network of collection sites, phlebotomists and couriers behind it, and keep it reliable as volume grows. You'll report to our Head of Product, work closely with engineering from discovery to shipping, and help shape how we build product at Junction. What you'll be doing day to day - Get more orders to a sample at the lab: from scheduling and reminders to where collection is available, you'll own the levers that get patients to follow through. - Own the physical path: kits and supplies, transport and routing each sample to the right lab, built alongside our Lab Operations team. - Expand where patients can get tested: launch new collection partners, including mobile phlebotomy and at-home kits, and decide where coverage and experience matters most. - Make calls with incomplete information: and flag the ones that need a wider conversation. Don't leave your team waiting on you. - Turn real-world signal into roadmap: customer pain, production issues, vendor behavior, support escalations. You're the person who sees the pattern and does something with it. - Partner with Product Ops on launches: so GTM, Success, Support and Operations are ready when the product is. - Help build the product function: how we plan, how we write, how we talk to customers, how we measure success. Requirements - Consumer product experience with a physical component: you've worked on a consumer product, and it's a big plus if something physical had to ship or happen in the real world for it to work, like at-home testing, pharmacy or delivery. - Patient experience craft: you've designed experiences that get people to complete something that matters to them, and you know where funnels lose people and why. - Startup PM experience: you've owned an area end-to-end at an early-stage company (Series A–C or equivalent), ideally as a founding or early PM. - Understand healthcare deeply: You understand how incentives, economics, and relationships between providers, payers, and patients shape how healthcare actually works. You can navigate the gap between what should happen and what the system rewards—and build products that succeed within it. - Complex B2B2C product experience: you've built for both businesses and the people they serve, with heavy third-party dependencies and regulated constraints, and kept the product simple in the face of that complexity. - Comfortable with technical depth: you can write SQL, read an API doc, you don't need to code, but you need to hold your own with engineers. - Customer-obsessed: customer conversations are your lifeline, you thrive on calls with users and customers. - Strong judgment, clear communicator: you want to know why a rule exists before you accept it. You write clearly and can talk to anyone — engineers, customers, vendors. What this role isn't - You only want to do strategy: you'll be in the weeds — specs, trade-offs, customer calls, launches. The details matter in this role as much as the bigger picture. - You want a polished process on day one: the product function is still forming. You'll help shape it as we scale. - You're looking for a people manager role: this is a senior builder role. You'll be hands-on. - You want fixed scope: you'll start with a clear area, and as a senior PM you'll also get pulled onto whatever the biggest opportunity is at the time. - You want to set your own roadmap: we run one roadmap for the company. You'll shape it a lot, and sometimes your best idea will lose to something more important. Our benefits: - Your salary is dependent on your location and experience level - Equity (extended exercise post 2 years of employment) - Company and team offsites - Monthly learning budget of $150 for personal development and productivity - $100 monthly wellness budget - Flexible, remote-first working, including $1K for home office equipment - Coworking budget - 36 days paid time off (including bank holidays) - Premium healthcare coverage - 4% monthly contribution to pension/401k - Yearly blood test on us - Enhanced parental, foster, and adoption leave Important details before applying: - We only hire folks physically based in GMT and EST timezones - We do not sponsor visas right now given our stage
