Welder/Fitter – Structural Steel Fabrication

Welder/Fitter Location: Ashland, VA Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire Shift: 1st Shift Pay Rate: Starting at $23.00/hour; higher pay available depending on experience, up to $25.00/hour. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to perform metal fabrication and welding work in a manufacturing environment. This position involves working from engineering drawings, preparing materials, and producing accurately fitted and welded components that meet quality and production requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and MIG welding experience, strong blueprint-reading abilities, and familiarity with fabrication and inspection tools.
