Blending timeless luxury with authentic Sonoma hospitality, we make special happen for our guests while fostering a workplace where colleagues are empowered to grow, collaborate, and build rewarding careers in luxury hospitality.  Host - Sante (Mornings) Our Sante Hosts are the face of the restaurant, welcoming and seating our guests into the venue, as well as taking reservations over the phone and online. They are an integral part of our restaurant operation, and your excellent customer service skills will shine through in this role. This is a full-time, permanent position.  Pay Range: $21.50 per hour Job Duties Include: - Greet and acknowledge all guests in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to Fairmont Hotels and Resort standards - Take, record, and confirm with accuracy restaurant reservations in accordance with the reservation guidelines - Use clear and concise communication with the assistants, servers, lead servers, and the Director of Restaurant Operations regarding the needs of the guests - Escort guests to the appropriate table in the dining room - Take and carry guests’ coats and drinks - Interact with arriving / departing guests by maintaining a presence at the host stand - Be familiar with all aspects, events and services of Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa - Assist in cleaning, clearing and setting tables in the restaurant and lobby - Serve from the cheese cart and maintain extensive knowledge of cheeses - Maintain knowledge of menu - Previous Food & Beverage front of house experience. - Must have excellent communication skills and be very organized.  - Must have legible penmanship. - Must have calm and warm manner - Be able to work flexible hours including mid-shift, weekends, and holidaysJob Perks & Benefits: - Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria per shift - Access to our Employee Travel Program, with discounts on room rates and food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties worldwide Visa Requirements: Applicants must be able to provide proof that they are legally able to work in the United States.  Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
