Consultant Psychiatrist General Adult Mental Health Services

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist to join their multidisciplinary mental health team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of adults experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. The role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues, service users, families, and community partners to ensure safe, effective, and recovery-focused care. Key Responsibilities - Provide consultant-level psychiatric assessment and treatment for adult patients. - Lead and support multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of evidence-based mental health services. - Participate in service planning, development, quality improvement, and clinical governance initiatives. - Supervise and support non-consultant hospital doctors and other healthcare professionals. - Contribute to teaching, training, research, and continuous professional development activities. - Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with all relevant professional, legal, and ethical standards.
