About the role
RecruitingAgileProgram ManagementRisk ManagementCAD
Lead enterprise-scale transformation. Connect strategy with execution. Deliver meaningful change in banking technology.
The Role
At Capco, we're looking for an accomplished Senior Program Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in a major Enterprise Technology Asset Management (ETAM) transformation for a leading Tier 1 Canadian financial institution.
This is a high-visibility, client-facing opportunity to lead integrated delivery across five interconnected workstreams, bringing together senior stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery partners to turn a complex transformation strategy into measurable business outcomes.
As the primary client contact, you'll provide the leadership, structure, and strategic oversight needed to navigate complex delivery challenges, manage interdependencies, and maintain momentum across the program. You'll work closely with senior banking stakeholders and geographically distributed teams, balancing delivery priorities, commercial commitments, and effective governance.
We're looking for someone who brings more than program management expertise: someone who can build trusted relationships, bring clarity to complexity, and take ownership of delivering meaningful change in a complex financial services environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Enterprise Transformation: Take ownership of integrated program delivery across five ETAM workstreams, aligning delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, resources, and acceptance criteria with strategic business objectives.
- Shape Delivery Strategy and Governance: Establish effective governance and delivery oversight, managing program risks, issues, dependencies, capacity, and executive reporting while ensuring alignment with enterprise delivery standards.
- Partner with Senior Client Stakeholders: Act as the primary client contact, building trusted relationships with senior banking executives, translating strategic priorities into actionable delivery plans, and facilitating informed decision-making.
- Connect Teams and Drive Collaboration: Bring together cross-functional technology teams and delivery partners, creating clear accountability, resolving delivery challenges, and maintaining alignment across the transformation.
- Deliver Commercial and Business Outcomes: Oversee program financials, delivery commitments, vendor performance, and key milestones, proactively addressing risks and ensuring successful outcomes across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of overall professional experience, including a minimum of 8 years leading complex enterprise technology transformation programs, with demonstrated accountability for integrated delivery across multiple workstreams.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within banking or financial services, with a strong understanding of Tier 1 banking environments, enterprise governance, and technology transformation within regulated organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrated delivery planning, RAID management, resource and capacity planning, milestone governance, executive reporting, and managing dependencies across complex programs.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, communicate complex delivery challenges clearly, influence decisions, and align diverse teams around shared objectives.
- Strong financial and commercial awareness, sound decision-making, proactive risk management, and the ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve challenges, and maintain delivery accountability.
Bonus Points For
- Previous experience delivering major technology transformation initiatives within Tier 1 Canadian financial institutions, including familiarity with enterprise delivery and governance frameworks.
- Experience coordinating multiple technology vendors and delivery partners across complex enterprise programs.
- Previous involvement in ServiceNow implementation or transformation initiatives, particularly within enterprise technology asset management.
- Experience supporting technology risk and regulatory programs, including fixed-price delivery engagements.
- Experience coordinating delivery across multiple locations, including offshore teams and external technology partners.
