Join one of the fastest-growing companies! 🚀 THE ROLE As our first Procurement Manager, you own the cash fonio spends with third parties. You build procurement from zero, on your own: processes, tools, cost control and our vendor relationships. You work closely with IT and Finance, and you have the autonomy to decide within agreed limits. WHAT TO EXPECT - Build the procurement function from scratch: source-to-pay process, procurement policy, approval thresholds and buying playbooks - Select and implement the right tools for intake, purchase orders, contracts and SaaS management, and connect them to our accounting together with Finance - Control expenses: full visibility over spend by vendor, team and category, a renewal calendar with no unchecked auto-renewals, and measurable savings - Own vendor management: sourcing, RFPs and negotiations for cloud, telephony and carriers, AI/LLM providers, SaaS, hardware and services - Run vendor onboarding, due diligence, performance reviews and risk checks (GDPR, DPAs, security) - Work with IT on the full software and hardware lifecycle: request, security review, provisioning, license tracking and offboarding WHAT YOU BRING - 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or vendor management, ideally in a tech scale-up - You have built or significantly scaled a procurement process before, and you work fully independently - Strong negotiator with a track record of measurable savings - Hands-on experience implementing procurement or spend-management tools - Solid understanding of SaaS, cloud and IT purchasing; telephony or AI/LLM vendors are a plus - Pragmatism: you keep processes simple, so buying gets faster, not slower - Tech oriented: you are obsessed with efficiency and make sure that our systems are connected and automate our expenses - Fluent English NICE-TO-HAVES - German is a plus - Experience with different markets across Europe, US & Brazil WHAT WE OFFER - €70,000 to €80,000 - Equity - Relocation support - Daily lunch and dinner - Equipment of your choice - Regular team off-sites - On-site in Vienna, working directly with the core-team   HIRING PROCESS 1. 20 min Intro Call with Talent Acquisition 2. 30 min Skill Interview (Deep dive on your technical skills of the role through a case) 3. 20 min Cultural Fit How we hire?
