Title: Head of Accounting & Administration, Latin America Mission Every consumer on earth purchases in one of three places: online, big-box retail, or mom-and-pop shops. Paradoxically, the largest commercial channel is, by far, humble traditional trade shops. Yet they remain fragmented, offline, and opaque. Native is the first intelligence-grade system built to penetrate this opacity. Each analog store is digitized into a dynamic graph where noise is filtered into low latency signals, transforming the antiquated offline world into advanced digital intelligence. Commercial leaders gain the precision to see what others cannot, store by store, rendering decisive decision advantage to win the market. Join the ground floor of the only platform engineered to decode the analog economy into operational dominance. Talent Values - High Leverage: Consistent ability to attain the productive capacity of 5-10 people through grit, raw talent, and sheer force of will. - High Agency: Relentless sense of ownership in the outcome, regardless of circumstance, acting decisively to shape the environment rather than being shaped by it. - Curiosity With Discipline: An evidence seeking, measurement mindset without succumbing to analysis paralysis, and a penchant for experimentation. - Intellectual Honesty: Certain enough to act, humble enough to always be learning Role Native is shifting — from tasks to systems, from execution to scaled impact, from a services mindset to a technology company mindset. Accounting has to make that same shift. As we scale across multiple legal entities and currencies in Latin America, we need a hands-on accounting leader who owns the integrity of the regional books and runs the function as a system — one that produces reliable, audit-ready output and does not depend on any single person being in the room. We are looking for a Head of Accounting & Administration, Latin America  who owns regional accounting end-to-end: the close, the controls, the compliance, and the team — while raising the standard of how the function operates. Core Responsibilities 1. Accounting Operations & Close - Own core accounting operations across the Latin America entities — payroll, revenue, payables, receivables, and general ledger. - Lead the monthly and annual close with accuracy, speed, and integrity; ensure P&L and balance sheet integrity across entities. - Ensure timely, accurate reporting under IFRS and local accounting standards across Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, including the local statutory nuances of each jurisdiction. - Maintain chart of accounts discipline and consistent accounting treatment across the region. 2. Compliance, Tax & Audit Readiness - Own fiscal and statutory compliance across all Latin America jurisdictions in which Native operates; manage local tax filings and regulatory submissions. - Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors; prepare the region for annual audits and keep the entities audit-ready as we scale. - Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany accounting in coordination with the Corporate Controller. - Maintain high standards of confidentiality and information security — finance data is among the most sensitive in the company; access, handling, and documentation must reflect that at all times. 3. Internal Controls & Process Integrity - Design and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures that support compliance, prevent fraud, and ensure financial governance across the region. - Make decisions and rationale visible in writing — the team should not depend on any individual being in the room to know what was decided and why. - Serve as the regional standard-setter for how accounting processes are designed, documented, and handed off — knowledge lives in systems, not in heads. 4. Systems, Reporting & Automation - Operate and improve the ERP and accounting systems to automate and scale reporting across all Latin America entities. - Automate manual workflows to boost accuracy and real-time financial visibility — the second time we do something manually should be the last time. - Adopt AI tools to improve reconciliations, detect anomalies, and reduce close cycle time, in partnership with the broader Finance function. 5. Team Leadership - Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team distributed across the region. - Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and People teams to ensure compliance and alignment of financial processes. - Serve as a reliable partner to the Corporate Controller on regional accounting, intercompany transactions, and audit readiness. Key Requirements - Location: based in Bogotá, Colombia. - Languages: full professional fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication in both. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.  - Experience: 10+ years in accounting operations, ideally including technology or venture-backed companies and multinational exposure across Latin America. - Technical: deep expertise in IFRS and the local accounting and tax intricacies of Colombia (DIAN), with solid working knowledge of Mexico (SAT) and Peru (SUNAT); experience with multi-entity consolidation and cross-border tax and compliance across these jurisdictions. - Systems: hands-on expertise with ERP systems (e.g. Odoo) and Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Slides, Docs); comfort adopting AI and automation in the accounting workflow. - Environment: demonstrated ability to operate in high-growth, tech-driven environments. Ideal Profile - High Agency — picks up unowned work, proposes a path when none exists, and makes decisions in their area without waiting to be asked. - High Leverage — reaches for automation and systems before reaching for more hands; asks “how do we 10x this without 10x’ing the team?” - Curiosity With Discipline — explores new tools and brings them to the team, but validates before rolling out; knows when a different approach is more reliable. - Bias Toward Action — decides with the data available today, ships the first version, and refines in the next iteration rather than polishing in the dark. - Intellectually Honest — names what’s broken, including their own bottlenecks, before it costs the team; doesn’t sell effort when results aren’t there. Company Headquartered in New York City, Native is a high-growth, venture-backed company redefining how physical retail is measured, understood, and acted on. Backed by Vista Equity Partners, a $100B+ platform focused on enterprise systems that own workflows, proprietary data, and execution, its mandate is clear: equip commercial leaders with the intelligence layer required to win, decisively. Native replaces static research and fragmented fieldwork with  living intelligence subscriptions —where agentic AI orchestrates continuous data collection, and reasoning  across the market. The result is not a market analyzed after the fact, but one that is continuously seen, understood, and actioned  in real time, enabling its users with an unfair competitive advantage. Location Bogotá, (Hybrid)
