Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/ Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESS" Operation and Maintenance - Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair resort boats, marine engines, generators, pumps, and related equipment. - Maintain speedboats, transfer boats, dhonis, and other vessels in safe operating condition. - Perform routine servicing, including oil and filter changes, fuel and cooling system maintenance, battery checks, and component replacements. - Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults and attend to breakdowns promptly. - Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules and conduct post-maintenance safety checks. - Maintain clean and safe engine rooms, vessels, and workshop areas. Spare Parts, Consumables and Records - Maintain vessel and engine maintenance logbooks, including engine hours, servicing, repairs, and defects. - Monitor spare parts and consumables stock and record usage. - Prepare timely requisitions for spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials. - Coordinate with Engineering Store and Purchasing for ordering, delivery, and stock replenishment. - Ensure proper documentation and storage of all spare parts and materials. Maintenance Planning and Safety - Monitor engine hours and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with Marine Operations. - Report major defects and recommend necessary repairs, overhauls, or replacements. - Follow safety procedures when handling fuel, lubricants, batteries, machinery, and chemicals. - Use appropriate PPE and ensure safe working conditions onboard vessels and at the jetty. - Immediately report equipment damage, fuel spills, hazards, and safety incidents. - Coordinate with authorized service agents and guide boat operators on routine engine checks. - Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant experience maintaining and repairing marine engines, boats or diesel / petrol engines. - • Practical knowledge of outboard and inboard marine engines, preferably from recognized manufacturers. - • Knowledge of fuel, cooling, lubrication, starting, charging and basic engine electrical systems. - • Ability to read technical manuals, service schedules, parts diagrams and workshop instructions. - • Resort, marine operation or island experience is an advantage; relevant marine safety or manufacturer training is an advantage.
