About the role

SEO
About the Company Our client is an Australian legal services group of around 55 people, including an existing and well-integrated offshore team, trading as two boutique law firm brands. One brand relies on a constant pipeline of new leads, while the other relies on staying in touch with existing clients and referral partners, and an internal program of staff engagement, quarterly themes and events runs across both. An external agency now sets the marketing strategy, SEO and paid media, so the client needs a dedicated Marketing Coordinator to own the day-to-day execution: designer, publisher and campaign builder in one. This is a newly created full-time position, established to maintain continuity of marketing delivery across both brands. About the Role - This is an execution-focused role. The agency handles strategy, targeting and messaging, and the Marketing Coordinator works from approved strategy, briefs and messaging to turn them into graphics, website updates, email campaigns and internal communications across both brands. The role is weighted towards creative design and content production, with graphics, communications, website updates and email execution making up the bulk of the work. Both brands are supported equally and concurrently. - The role is a designer, publisher and campaign builder in one: creating graphics in Canva and AI tools, publishing on both WordPress sites, building email campaigns in a template-based platform, and supporting social content, events and internal communications. - Design is the most important skill. The Marketing Coordinator receives a clear brief and direction and is trusted to bring it to life with strong layout, creativity and attention to detail. Brand kits, colour palettes and Canva templates are already established for both brands, so the work builds on existing assets rather than starting from a blank page. - The role makes a real contribution to internal culture. Each quarter the firms launch a new internal theme, supported by posters, communications and presentation slides. Planning takes place in December for an early January launch, so the work is fast paced. External materials follow strict brand standards, while internal content is expected to be creative, engaging and fun. - The workload is project and event driven rather than a fixed daily routine. For example, a new team member joining triggers a series of tasks such as photography, website updates and email campaigns. As a guide, the websites are updated at least weekly, each website publishes at least one article a month, and each brand sends one to two email campaigns a month. - Attention to detail is essential in a legal brand. Every piece goes through quality checks in Australian English, with a test sent before anything goes out, and all new or materially changed content (including website landing pages, service pages, articles, EDMs and downloadable resources) must be approved by a Senior Solicitor for accuracy and compliance before publication. - The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager, including a short team huddle each morning and close support during the first six months. A structured onboarding is provided, supported by a handover from the existing team member, documented processes, training videos and recorded walkthroughs. - The client values great communication, aptitude and enthusiasm, together with confidence, curiosity and a personable, engaging style that fits a close-knit team. The email platform and the client's custom template blocks can be learned, so a positive attitude and willingness to learn matter as much as tool experience. - SEO strategy and paid media remain with the external agency, and major website development is not a core task. The Marketing Coordinator supports on-page SEO and generative engine optimisation (GEO) within the website and content work, and supports the agency relationship by coordinating briefs, assets and approvals with the Sales & Marketing Manager. - This is a home-based role, like the client's existing offshore team. Software licences the role logs into, such as Canva and the email platform, are issued by the client. Primary Purpose To execute the firm's marketing accurately and consistently across both brands and the internal program, turning approved briefs into creative, on-brand graphics, website updates, email campaigns and communications, with every piece checked and approved before it goes out, so that the Sales & Marketing Manager and the agency can focus on strategy and growth.
