Underwriting Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Underwriting Consultant based in Canada. Join an Individual Underwriting team as a trusted technical resource, applying your expertise to assess life and critical illness insurance risks. In this role, you will support National Accounts, General Agents, and Advisors by delivering sound, competitive underwriting decisions. You will work closely with sales and internal partners to build strong relationships and provide clear, thoughtful guidance. Your medical knowledge and analytical judgment will help ensure accurate risk classification and a positive customer experience. You will also contribute to process improvements, share your expertise through mentoring, and help strengthen underwriting practices.
