Production Operator

Production Operator – Entry Level Location: Humble, TX | Department: Production | Full-Time Position Summary Reactive Downhole Tools is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Entry-Level Production Operator to perform hands-on production activities in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be willing to learn, follow procedures, and work effectively as part of a team. Manufacturing or oil & gas experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Key Responsibilities - Perform assigned production tasks safely and efficiently. - Follow safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized work area. - Complete required production documentation and maintain material traceability. - Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and company processes. - Properly use and care for tools, equipment, and materials. - Participate in required safety, training, and continual improvement activities. - Work cooperatively with Production and other departments. - Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. - Ability to read a tape measure. - Basic Microsoft Office skills. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. - Ability to safely learn and operate production tools and equipment. - Dependable attendance, good situational awareness, and willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications - 1–2 years of manufacturing or oil & gas experience. - Downhole tool manufacturing experience. - Ability to read technical drawings. - Overhead crane experience. - Manual lathe operation and setup experience. - Rubber cutting experience. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. - Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and work in various positions. - Ability to use hand tools and production equipment safely. - Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required. - Ability to work around industrial machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures. - Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves. - Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
