Technical Manager, ESG Assurance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Manager, ESG Assurance based in the United States. The Technical Manager, ESG Assurance will oversee the technical integrity and successful delivery of greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory verification and ESG assurance programs across a diverse range of industries. This role combines senior-level audit expertise, program management, quality oversight, and strategic client engagement in both voluntary and regulatory reporting environments. You will guide complex assurance projects, ensure consistent application of recognized standards, and support organizations in strengthening the accuracy and credibility of their sustainability disclosures. Working closely with technical, operational, quality, and business development teams, you will also help expand services, improve methodologies, and respond to emerging regulatory requirements. The position offers an opportunity to shape program performance, develop technical talent, and contribute to the continued evolution of sustainability assurance. This is a remote, home-office-based role with domestic and international travel for audit activities.
