QA Engineer- Web services

JOB Functions: • Develop objects and maintain shared object libraries.  • Determine which of the approved frameworks are best used for the situation.  • Work with the Developers, Testers and Analysts to understand the specific needs of the project/product for test automation and functionality.  • Identify Test Cases; participate in test case review/discussions; participate in user story mapping, project walk-throughs, sprint planning and estimation.  • Perform test automation design, development, and validation as needed for assigned projects.  • Prepare and Transition work to other automation resources, such as analysis & designs. This may include offshore resources.  • Assist team by supporting the Continuous Integration (CI) environment  • Mentor Manual Testers and others in the use of the toolset, frameworks, and processes, and in execution of test automation from ALM.  Requirements: * BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. * At least 3-7 years of testing experience in total * Experience with Unix based environments * Experience with backend testing * Experience with architecting and implementing direct web services testing strategies (REST or SOAP) * Expertise in Webservice testing * Experience in writing Test Cases, Test Plans, and Test Scripts * Experience in testing large scale complex enterprise level application leveraging web technologies * Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) * Solid Understanding of QA principles, processes, and methodologies * Excellent trouble-shooting skills with both technical and non-technical issues * Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process. * Self-motivated individual who takes complete ownership of the product and its outcom As preferred vendors to some of the best companies in the field of IT, Banking & Finance, Healthcare, and the Mortgage industry, we provide diverse projects to further enhance your career path.  PLACEMENT WITH FORTUNE 500 CLIENTS - Financial and Banking : Wells Fargo, Bank of west, Union bank, Fremont Bank, Bank of America, Charles Schwab, State Street, JP Morgan Chase , Fifth third Bank etc. - Telecom: AT&T, Verizon, T-mobile.
