Carpenter

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable experienced Carpenter to join our RUSH Facilities team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both rough and finish carpentry, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions. - Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to build frameworks, structures, and fixtures. - Install doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, trim, and other finish carpentry components. - Operate power tools, hand tools, and carpentry machinery safely and efficiently. - Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or other structures as needed. - Ensure work is performed according to local building codes and company standards. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and project requirements. - Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry. - Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment. - Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction methods. - Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, and measurements accurately. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Willing to learn other duties as needed. - Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. - OSHA certification is a plus. - Must be US Citizen and have ability to be badged for security clearance. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly. - Comfortable standing, bending, and working in various weather conditions for extended periods. - Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary.
