We value technical excellence, collaboration, and the opportunity to shape the future of the industry. THE ROLE Freda is shaping a new category, and we’re now growing the team around it. As our first finance hire, you will build the function from the ground up. You'll sit close to the founding team and work with every part of the business. This is a role for someone who is just as comfortable closing the month as challenging a business case: reliable on the details, sharp on the analysis, and able to turn both into decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own our financial health end-to-end; planning and forecasting, strategic analysis, investor and board reporting, fundraising, controlling and the books. - Set up the systems, reporting, and processes that will be the foundation to scale from. - Own the KPIs, and the story behind them. Know whether we're on track and understand what actually drives them. Be the one to tell us why a number changed and what to do about it. - Own our financial narrative for the board and investors: runway, burn, growth, and what it means for the direction ahead. - Be the finance partner to every team. Help Sales think about deal economics, and Engineering weigh decisions on tooling and infrastructure costs. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - A background in management consulting or finance, followed by a couple of years in a tech company. - Experience from the whole finance palette, from the books to the board deck. - Strong at financial analysis: you understand the nuances behind a number - A driver's mindset: you take ownership, decide, and follow through - Someone to count on. Your work doesn't need a second look. - AI native in your approach and tool usage - Fluency in English From day one, you'll have real ownership. We're a small team and only getting started.
