Eurofins is an international network of independent life sciences companies, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable. From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.
The Eurofins network is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporate responsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across its companies around the world.
HOW CAN YOU HELP US?
Are you eager to contribute to IT projects and strengthen your business analysis, project management and digital skills within an international and dynamic environment? We are looking for interns to join our IT teams based in cities across Europe, including Brussels, Nantes, Barcelona, Hamburg, and in Bangalore, India.
Our IT teams design, implement and continuously improve digital solutions that connect clients, laboratories and field operations across the Eurofins network. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to support business analysis, process improvement and digital transformation initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders from different countries and Eurofins companies.
Depending on business needs and your interests, you may contribute to one of the following IT solutions:
The Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) aims to standardise full laboratory processes, from sample registration and laboratory production to quality control, results reporting and invoicing. It provides a scalable global platform that improves efficiency while allowing laboratories to adapt the solution to local requirements.
The B2B Integration Programme focuses on automating the exchange of information between clients' IT systems and the Eurofins laboratory network systems. Through digital connectivity solutions and client-facing platforms, the programme enables the seamless transmission of testing requests, sample information and analytical results, improving efficiency and data quality for both clients and laboratories.
The Outside Service Management (OSM) Programme supports the digitalisation of field services and sample management activities. It ensures that client requests are integrated into the Eurofins network IT systems, facilitates the management of sampling operations, and enables the digital transmission of field data and sample information to laboratories for analysis.
Potential projects may involve assessing new solutions, analysing current functionalities and migration options, and working with other IT stakeholders to develop prototypes or proofs of concept. Other opportunities could include automating reporting processes, developing an AI-powered copilot for issue investigation, etc.
WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?
As part of your role, you will support impactful projects for scientists, laboratory professionals, and IT teams across multiple countries. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills alongside experienced IT professionals and play an active role in the digital transformation of a global network of laboratories.
Contract type: Internship.
This internship is compensated. To apply, you must provide an internship agreement from your university.
Start date: Flexible in 2027
