We're looking for a Software Engineer (Scala) who can start on short notice on a high-impact modernization project. 💡 Why join? ✔ Shape the architecture for a next-gen image management platform ✔ Build scalable JVM libraries that abstract uploads ✔ Prepare and execute large-scale migrations ✔ Collaborate closely with tech leads and architects in an agile, high-ownership environment 🚀 What you'll be doing ✅ Translate product/architecture requirements into clear technical specs and implementation plans ✅ Design and implement provider-agnostic JVM libraries (Scala) for uploads & URL generation ✅ Migrate services onto the new abstraction layer with backward compatibility and zero user impact ✅ Ship robust, well-tested code that follows industry best practices and existing architecture patterns ✅ Contribute to architecture reviews, code reviews, and long-term media platform decisions
