Launch Housing faces an unprecedented opportunity to partner with all levels of government and institutional capital to overcome Australia’s rental and housing affordability crisis. With an ambitious plan to build more housing, the Housing Solutions portfolio is responsible for end-to-end property portfolio accountabilities; property development, enterprise-wide asset management, tenancy services and real estate management services through our award-winning social enterprise HomeGround Real Estate.
At a federal level the introduction of Housing Australia and the new National Housing Accord alongside the State
Government Big Housing Build means there are now mechanisms available to facilitate financing to deliver a pipeline of social and affordable housing. Local Government contributions such as land and density approvals are a key feature that support growth.
Launch Housing has evidenced capacity to develop new homes and over the last 2 years, has delivered 118 new housing outcomes, including the multi award winning supported housing project at Viv’s Place which is now home to 60 women and over 100 children who are victim/survivors of family violence. We have a strong pipeline of 159 new homes committed to be delivered by 2027 and are exploring new partnerships to increase supply in response to the housing crisis faced by many Victorians.
The Assistant Development Manager role is aligned to a strategic housing growth ambition to deliver more housing, working within the Projects team to support the funding and delivery of new homes.
