Assistant Manager - EHS

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistant Manager - EHS based in India. As an Assistant Manager - EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), you will play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and sustainable operations across an active project site. You will oversee the implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while working closely with contractors, site managers, employees, and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include conducting safety audits, assessing workplace risks, reviewing safety documentation, and ensuring appropriate preventive and corrective measures are implemented. You will also lead safety training and awareness initiatives, helping employees and contractors adopt best practices and maintain a strong safety culture. By monitoring incidents, driving continuous improvement, and promoting accountability at every level, you will contribute to the organization's Zero Harm objective.
