Senior QA Automation Engineer

- Build and maintain automated data regression tests for the migration from a legacy Postgres warehouse to Snowflake: query validation, integration tests on real data, scheduled reconciliation (row counts, IDs, checksums, freshness) and monitoring of schema and data changes. - Analyse production comparison results, classify mismatches and give go / no-go recommendations for each rollout stage. - Build an API regression suite (contract or snapshot tests) for critical endpoints, running in GitLab CI on every change. - Take ownership of the existing Playwright framework: stabilise it, remove flaky tests, extend it to critical user journeys and add post-deployment smoke tests. - Learn the business domain in depth and run structured exploratory and edge-case testing (roles, markets, time zones, large data volumes, browsers). - Run non-functional tests: performance and load, fallback and rollback, tenant isolation and personal data protection. - Prepare anonymised test data and test accounts, and coordinate UAT with business stakeholders. - Report defects in Jira, retest fixes, deliver a quality report every sprint and work shift-left within two-week Scrum sprints.
