Medical Assistant (Part-Time)

Our environment is filled with hard-working, dynamic individuals who come together to ensure the success of our partner dermatologists.  - Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain medical histories - Prepare patients for examinations and procedures - Assist physicians during in-office surgeries, excisions, biopsies, and cosmetic treatments - Support patients with medication instructions and guidance - Act as a scribe for the provider during visits - Work one-on-one with dermatologists and physician assistants - Receive comprehensive in-office training - Learn to use our electronic medical record (EMR) system - Gain additional support through our custom MA training manual Job Type: - Part-time: Tuesday- Thursday, 8am-4:30pm - Lansdowne and Aldie locationsExperience: -  Prior medical assisting experience is strongly preferred -  Completion of a medical assistant training program is helpful, but not required -  Previous clinical experience with direct patient contact is preferred -  Background in other healthcare roles is also valued -  Excellent opportunity for Pre-MD or Pre-PA candidates looking for hands-on experienceEducation: - High school diploma or equivalentCertifications/Licenses: - Medical Assisting Certification is preferredSalary - Starts at $20.00 hourly All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
