Protein Expression Scientist

Eurofins PSS is searching for an associate level scientist with experience in basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques. The ideal candidate will support the mammalian protein expression group by performing basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques for various protein expression needs.  Key Objectives/Deliverables: - Provide general molecular biology support (bacterial transformation, plasmid preparation, gel electrophoresis, PCR and cloning) - Maintain mammalian cells and prepare cell culture to conduct transfection/protein expression experiment  - Assistance in general lab tasks and supply management - Work collaboratively with PBS team on-site to achieve critical research objectives and timelines. - Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practice - Appropriate documentation of all experimental results in eLN   - Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or similar discipline - Experience in mammalian cell culture and DNA plasmid preparation.  - Position is full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  - Pay range: $25.00 - $26.75 / hour - Excellent full time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options - Life and disability insurance - 401(k) with company match - Paid vacation and holidaysLinkedIn: #LI-EB1 Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
