By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. We're focused on building advanced American manufacturing and we're passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy.
T1 Energy is looking to hire a Benefits, Retirement & Equity Analyst to own the operational backbone of our retirement, equity, and benefits-billing programs. This is a detail-intensive role for someone who lives in the numbers: reconciling retirement contributions, administering equity programs, and making sure every dollar across our 401(k), equity, and carrier-billing records lines up exactly as it should.
You'll be the primary operational contact for our Fidelity retirement and equity administration, the person who catches a discrepancy before it becomes a problem, and trusted partner to Finance, Payroll, and our external advisors. If you're analytical to your core, fluent in both the retirement and equity worlds, and you take genuine satisfaction in clean reconciliation, this role was built for you.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary operational contact for Fidelity retirement and equity administration.
- Manage ongoing 401(k) administration, including eligibility, contributions, employer match, funding, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Review Fidelity reports and files to ensure employee contributions and employer funding are accurate.
- Support administration of RSUs, stock options, grants, vesting activity, forfeitures, employee changes and terminations.
- Maintain accurate equity records and support employee questions related to equity administration.
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, Fidelity, and external advisors to research and resolve retirement and equity discrepancies.
- Perform ongoing financial reconciliation across retirement and equity programs.
- Support benefit carrier billing, including invoice review, reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, credits, refunds, and payment coordination with Finance and AP.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, reconciliation, and supporting records.
- Identify opportunities to improve controls, reporting, and process across retirement, equity, and billing administration.
Who You Are
- Analytical to your core: you independently investigate discrepancies and don't rest until the numbers reconcile.
- Fluent in both retirement and equity worlds, comfortable moving between 401(k) administration and RSU/stock option mechanics in the same day.
- Detail-obsessed and controls-minded: you understand that a small error in retirement or equity records has real consequences for real employees.
- A strong cross-functional partner who works cleanly with Finance, Payroll, carriers, and external advisors to resolve issues.
- Process-minded: you see the manual workaround and immediately start thinking about how to make it cleaner, tighter, and more audit ready.
- Organized and dependable, with a habit of closing the loop on every reconciliation and open item.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, equity administration, financial operations, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience administering 401(k) plans, including eligibility, employee contributions, employer match, funding, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
- Strong understanding of 401(k) administration and ERISA-related processes.
- Strong working knowledge of RSUs, vesting, grants, and equity administration, including vesting schedules, forfeitures, and terminations.
- Experience performing financial reconciliations and identifying discrepancies across retirement, equity, and financial records.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, variance analysis. and large-data reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of finance and accounting concepts, including reconciliations, funding, variance analysis, invoice review, credits, and payments.
- Experience with UKG Pro is a plus.
