You will lead client delivery, guide a team of engineers and analysts, and work closely with onshore teams. This is mix of technical and finance role. You must understand why a reconciliation breaks, what a P&L hierarchy should look like, and how to build the pipeline and report that gets it right.

- Review the team’s technical work, including data models, transformation logic, and report design, for accuracy and best practices
- Anticipate risks, manage scope, and escalate early to onshore stakeholders
Technical contribution
- Design and build data pipelines and warehouse/lakehouse solutions on Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure
- Build and optimize semantic models and executive-grade BI reports, primarily in Power BI/Tableau
- Develop data prep and automation workflows (Alteryx experience is a plus)
- Lead data validation and reconciliation to ensure financial reports tie to source systems and the general ledger
- Work with ERP and finance source data such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Salesforce
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of total experience, with a meaningful part in finance/accounting (FP&A, financial reporting, controllership, or finance transformation) and data/BI roles
- Strong grounding in accounting and finance concepts: GL, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet structures, budgeting and forecasting, revenue and cost allocation, and month-end close
- Degree in finance, accounting, commerce, or a related field. CA, CMA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with at least two of: Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure data services
- Advanced SQL and strong data modeling skills (dimensional modeling, star schema)
- Strong Power BI skills (DAX, semantic modeling, performance tuning), or equivalent BI tool experience
- Working knowledge of Python or PySpark for transformation and automation
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a small team or acting as a technical lead on client projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to work directly with onshore business stakeholders
