Vice President of Finance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President of Finance based in the United States. The Vice President of Finance will serve as a strategic leader and trusted advisor, guiding the financial direction of a growing, mission-driven education nonprofit. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this hands-on role combines executive-level financial strategy with oversight of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and financial operations. You will partner with senior leaders and department heads to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, strengthen organizational decision-making, and support sustainable growth. Leading and developing a high-performing finance team will be central to the role, alongside building scalable systems and processes. The position offers an opportunity to influence organizational strategy while supporting innovation in education and advancing a commitment to racial equity.
