Staff Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer based in the United States. The Staff Software Engineer will establish the technical foundation for an expanding government-focused product offering, designing scalable systems that support complex public-sector compliance needs. In this senior technical leadership role, you will shape architecture, engineering standards, and product capabilities for government vendors, federal agencies, and State, Local, and Education (SLED) organizations. You will lead the development of new compliance workflows and platform capabilities, working directly with early design partners to validate solutions and adapt to evolving requirements. Your work will help organizations navigate frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, and NIST while strengthening their security posture. As the team's technical anchor, you will drive strategic engineering initiatives, mentor developers, and build durable systems that support long-term growth.
