Lead Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Engineer based in India. The Lead Engineer will contribute to in-service engineering activities within the aerospace and defense sector, with a particular focus on landing gear systems and mechanical components. You will provide engineering repair dispositions, assess complex overhaul issues, and develop technical solutions that support product reliability and safety. Working closely with customers, maintenance organizations, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will help ensure high-quality deliverables and timely project execution. The role requires strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, practical design expertise, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and stress analysis reports. You will also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying solutions that prevent recurring engineering issues.
