About the role
Customer SuccessHRISSAPRecruiting
Crunchr is the people analytics platform for forward-thinking HR teams. We believe people are the key to a company's value, so we start with our own.
We're a lean team working from Amsterdam (headquarters), London, and Boston: genuinely curious, open-minded, and down to earth. We share what we know, stay open to better ideas, and let data, not ego, guide our decisions. For more information about us, you can visit the Crunchr careers page.
Before you apply, please note that candidates based in the Greater Boston area are strongly preferred and that this role does not offer visa sponsorship (applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship). We only accept direct applications to the role.
As Customer Success Lead US, you own our US customer relationships and lead our US Customer Success team. Together with the team, you help our customers to get the most out of Crunchr, drive user adoption, and act as their sparring partner. You also take direct ownership of a portfolio of strategic US accounts.
You build trusted relationships with HR leadership and are the person they rely on to turn their questions into insights, whether that's defining the right metric for a vague HR question or helping a CHRO tell a credible workforce story to the board.
You set priorities, coach people on analytics and HR domain knowledge, and make sure our US customers get consistent, high-quality delivery. You don't need to write code, but you are data-savvy: you understand how HR data is structured, where it goes wrong, and which analyses answer which business question.
You lead the US team, consisting of two Customer Success Managers and two Data Engineers. You are based in Boston and report to the VP of Customer Success in Amsterdam. The global Customer Success team has 10 people across both offices. You work closely with the US Sales team and your Amsterdam colleagues, and you help shape how Customer Success operates globally.
What you will own:
Strategic accounts
- Own customer health, adoption, value creation, and retention of US customers.
- Act as the senior advisor and people analytics expert for your customers: help them define the right questions, metrics, and analyses, and turn insights into HR and business decisions.
- Lead escalations through to resolution.
- Partner with the US Sales team on new customer handovers, renewals, and expansion opportunities.Team leadership
- Lead, coach and develop the US team of CSMs and Data Engineers, including regular 1:1s, goal setting and performance conversations.
- Coach the team on analytics and HR domain knowledge, e.g. workforce planning, attrition, talent acquisition, and reward analytics, and how HR data and systems fit together.
- Set priorities and keep delivery quality consistent across the US customer base.Global and cross-functional
- Work with the VP of Customer Success and the Amsterdam team on global processes, standards, playbooks, and tooling.
- Bring the customer voice to Product and Sales, with clear, prioritized input.
- Actively bring AI into how you and the team work, finding ways to improve speed, quality, and consistency.
Must-haves
- 7+ years of relevant experience in people analytics, HR analytics consulting, or a customer-facing analytics role, including advising senior HR or business stakeholders.
- Deep people analytics expertise: you understand HR processes and data (e.g. headcount, mobility, attrition, compensation) and know how to turn them into meaningful metrics and insights.
- Experience leading people, formally or as a team lead, e.g. 2+ years coaching or managing analysts, consultants or customer-facing teams. We will support a strong first-time manager, but you must have led/coached others in some form.
- Very data-savvy: comfortable reasoning about data models, data quality, and analysis approaches, and able to challenge and guide technical colleagues. No programming skills required.
- Executive presence and experience advising and presenting to HR leaders, and business stakeholders, translating complexity into clear recommendations.
- A master's degree, or equivalent experience, in a quantitative, analytical or HR-related field (e.g. econometrics, data science, industrial-organizational psychology, business analytics).
- You actively embrace AI as part of how you work, and help your team do the same.
- You share the way we work: Think big, Ship small, Win together.
- You are based in the greater Boston area and work from our office at least two days per week. Nice-to-haves
- Formal experience leading or managing a team.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Programming experience in any language.

- A role in which you can have great impact, you'll be part of a scale-up that is building something big!
- Competitive compensation package and secondary conditions like health insurance, 401k, 4 weeks workation, enhanced parental leave, annual company trip and Employer Stock Option Plan.
- Autonomy, trust, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on Crunchr’s growth story.
