Senior Data Engineer / Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Developer based in India. We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer / Developer to take end-to-end ownership of data engineering and backend development across a growing business environment. In this hands-on senior role, you will dedicate approximately 75% of your time to data engineering and 25% to backend development, building scalable solutions that improve business operations and financial visibility. You will work extensively with Microsoft Azure, SQL databases, data pipelines, and integrations across financial and CRM platforms. Collaborating closely with the CFO, leadership team, and existing developers, you will translate complex business requirements into practical, production-ready technical solutions. A key focus will be automating manual financial processes, improving data infrastructure, and developing reliable reporting and analytical capabilities.
