Plant - Continuous Improvement Manager (Packaging)

  Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at a folding carton manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in packaging manufacturing, press room operations, team leadership, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including printing, die-cutting, folding/gluing, lamination, and finishing. - Ensure production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality, and on-time delivery. - Manage production schedules, budgets, labor, and operating costs. - Monitor KPIs, reduce waste, minimize downtime, and improve productivity. - Lead maintenance, quality, warehouse, and production teams. - Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Resolve production issues and ensure customer requirements are met. - Train, coach, and manage employees while promoting accountability and teamwork. Qualifications - 7–10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience. - 5+ years of Plant Manager experience preferred. - Experience in folding carton or paperboard packaging manufacturing strongly preferred. - Strong knowledge of offset printing, die-cutting, folding/gluing, and finishing operations. - Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience with ERP systems; Radius preferred. - Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
