Plant Manager

  Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, including printing, painting, CNC, assembly, shipping, receiving, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and a proven track record of improving safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily plant operations and ensure production schedules are met. - Manage department supervisors and drive accountability across all teams. - Maintain plant safety and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance. - Improve productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency. - Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. - Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, scrap, and rework. - Manage labor, materials, equipment, and operating budgets. - Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments. - Use ERP/MRP systems to monitor production and operational performance. - Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees. Qualifications - 10+ years of manufacturing experience. - 7+ years of leadership or management experience. - Experience managing multiple manufacturing departments. - Strong knowledge of OSHA, plant safety, and compliance. - Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement. - Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; Epicor preferred. - Strong knowledge of production planning, budgeting, and operations. - Experience in custom fabrication, millwork, signage, woodworking, printing, or metal fabrication preferred. - Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
