About the role

Lead Generation
About Greenplaces Good for business. Good for the planet. Accessible to all. Greenplaces pairs dedicated experts with AI-powered software to handle every sustainability framework our customers' customers require: CDP, EcoVadis, SBTi, and more. We work with the suppliers of the Fortune 500: professional services firms, financial services, technology companies, architecture practices, and manufacturers whose customers keep adding requirements faster than their teams can grow. Our mission is to simplify sustainability reporting so every business can lead with purpose. We love doing compliance, so our clients don't have to. About the Role As Sustainability Reporting Manager, you own delivery for a portfolio of 25+ corporate clients across CDP, EcoVadis, SBTi, TCFD-aligned disclosures, and CSRD. Every report in your portfolio lands complete, defensible, and on time, and every client knows exactly where they stand. This is a delivery role first. You run the reporting cycle from kickoff through submission and score review: scoping the work, setting the calendar, chasing the evidence, drafting and reviewing responses, and getting the submission through the portal. You keep many clients moving in parallel against hard external deadlines without letting quality slip. It is also a client role. You are the person our clients call when they are unsure, the person who makes a complicated process feel manageable, and the person who tells them the truth about where they will score. Clients should finish a cycle with you feeling that the work was easier, clearer, and better than it would have been anywhere else. You report to the Director of Reporting and work closely with our carbon accounting, product, and sales teams. What You'll Do Deliver client disclosures end to end - Own delivery of CDP questionnaires, EcoVadis assessments, SBTi commitments and decarbonization roadmaps, TCFD-aligned narrative reports, and CSRD-aligned disclosures across a portfolio of 25+ corporate clients - Translate each framework's requirements into a concrete project plan with owners, evidence lists, and dates, then run the plan - Run gap assessments against prior-year responses and scored feedback, and build a clear path from the current score to the target score - Draft, review, and submit responses that are complete, defensible, and aligned to how each platform awards points - Manage the response calendar and quality review process so every submission lands on time in the portal, with no surprises in the final week Be the client's trusted guide - Serve as the primary advisor to client sustainability, legal, procurement, HR, and executive stakeholders through the full cycle - Set expectations early, say plainly what a client needs to provide and by when, and chase the evidence that matters - Keep clients informed with proactive, clear updates so they always know status, risks, and next steps without having to ask - Debrief results with clients and turn scores into a prioritized improvement plan for the following cycle - Handle hard conversations well: a missed deadline, a lower score, or a gap in their data, delivered with candor and a plan Make delivery faster every cycle - Build and maintain the templates, checklists, response libraries, and workflows that let the team deliver consistently at your standard - Collaborate with the carbon accounting team so emissions data flows into reports in the shape the frameworks require - Bring the field back to Product and Engineering: where responses stall, where reviewers lose time, and where guidance can be encoded in the tooling rather than remembered Support sales and prospecting - Join discovery and scoping calls as the subject-matter expert, helping prospects understand requirements, scoring mechanics, and what a realistic cycle looks like - Scope new engagements accurately so what Sales promises is what Delivery can execute - Stay current on evolving disclosure expectations (CSRD, ISSB, California SB 253 and SB 261) and share what matters with clients and the team
