Line Cook

EDISON’S ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX is looking for individuals who are highly motivated and have an outgoing personality to work in a dynamic, fun, and energetic environment.  Edison’s is a 30,000 s.f. entertainment facility on Rte. 157 in Edwardsville, IL that will feature boutique bowling, laser tag, arcade, a full service restaurant and lounge and five party rooms.   Edison’s offers something for all ages and will strive to bring the highest quality of entertainment to the community.   -  Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines. -  Prepares all food items ads directed in a sanitary and timely manner. -  Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant. -  Restocks all items as needed throughout shift. -  Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills. -  Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station. -  Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.  -  Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Kitchen Manager at any time.    -  Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills. -  Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.  -  2-3 years previous prep or line cook experience.   Resumes are optional but welcome.         Pay DOE 15.00-1800
