Mechanical Engineering
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumbing Engineer to design and coordinate plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare, institutional, and public-sector projects. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of plumbing or mechanical engineering experience in an MEP environment, strong knowledge of applicable codes, and experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams. An active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, storm drainage, natural gas, and fuel gas systems.
- Prepare plumbing plans, diagrams, construction details, specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Ensure plumbing designs comply with applicable plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection codes and standards.
- Support permitting activities and respond to code review comments.
- Coordinate designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and fire protection teams.
- Support projects through design and construction, including construction documents, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field coordination.
- Identify and resolve plumbing design and construction-related issues.
