Principal Engineer, New Products

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Engineer, New Products based in the United States. This is an opportunity for a senior technical leader to shape the architecture and engineering vision of a new business line from the ground up. You will translate business goals into scalable technical solutions, guide system design, and drive the delivery of critical initiatives. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and business stakeholders, you will provide technical direction to an initial contractor team, with potential to support additional teams as the platform grows. The role combines strategic architectural leadership with hands-on engineering and daily use of AI coding agents. Success means building reliable, maintainable systems and scaling execution through smart processes, automation, and AI rather than simply increasing headcount.
