Economist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Economist based in Canada. As an Economist, you will contribute to research that supports Canada's digital transformation and strengthens its workforce competitiveness. You will dedicate approximately half of your time to major labour market information initiatives, conducting in-depth economic and workforce analysis. Your work will help identify emerging skills needs, assess technological developments, and anticipate changes across Canada's digital economy. You will also contribute to economic forecasting, policy research, and workforce development initiatives. Working with quantitative and qualitative researchers, government partners, and industry stakeholders, you will turn complex data into practical insights. This is an opportunity to influence evidence-based decisions and contribute to research with a meaningful national impact.
