Senior IT Project Manager - Operations (all genders) Your Role & Impact As we transition from Microsoft Business Central to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, you will serve as the operational driver and steering authority for our Operations IT landscape (Procure to Pay and Supply Chain / Plan to Produce). Working in a close tandem with our functional Product Owners, you own the "how" and "when" - driving project governance, enforcing milestone accountability, holding implementation partners strictly to delivery standards, and ensuring leadership always has an unequivocal single source of truth on project progress. What you'll do - Project Control & Status Transparency: Own stream roadmaps, critical paths, and risk registers. Maintain a reliable single source of truth so leadership always knows exactly where the project stands. - SI & Vendor Steering: Actively challenge and manage external implementation partners (consultants / system integrators). Enforce milestone adherence, configuration workbook completeness, and rapid gap resolution. - Fit-to-Standard & Backlog Governance: Partner with functional POs to manage the backlog in Jira / SAP Cloud ALM. Champion SAP S/4HANA "Fit-to-Standard" out-of-the-box logic against custom build requests. - Workshop Execution & Delivery: Structure and steer functional configuration, integration, and design workshops across P2P and Supply Chain. Ensure sessions are decision-focused and action items are closed out. - Beyond SAP Roadmap: Steer the evaluation, integration, and rollout of broader Operations IT tools, including Demand & Supply Planning and eSourcing platforms. What You Bring - Experience: 5+ years of IT Project Management or Functional Stream Lead experience in large-scale ERP implementations (specifically SAP S/4HANA, ideally Public Cloud) within retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing. - Strong Delivery Mindset: Proven track record of steering external partners, cutting through cross-functional ambiguity, and driving decisions across seniority levels. - Methodology Owner: Deep hands-on proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and SAP Cloud ALM, with the ability to build transparent milestone and defect tracking frameworks. - Supply Chain Understanding: Solid grasp of operational supply chain flows (Procurement, Inventory, Subcontracting/Kitting, Logistics, and 3PL interfaces). - Languages: Full professional fluency in English is required (our corporate language); German language skills are a plus, but entirely optional.
